Design

Kool-Vue cooling products are designed and built to last. We use components and materials that are quite similar to the original design. For example, for full-size pickup trucks, we use stainless steel, plated oil coolers in the radiators. This will give the consumer peace of mind when carrying a heavy load or hauling a boat/trailer up a steep grade. From aluminum and plastic materials, to core thickness to fin height, our cooling products are designed to withstand the rigors of today��s vehicle power plants, whether they be gas, diesel or hybrid-powered.

Manufacturing

More than 20 years of experience has enabled us to identify, select and collaborate with certified manufacturers that share our vision and philosophy: manufacture only high quality products. For radiators and condensers, our partners use state of the art Nocolock furnaces for brazing the tube/fin cores. This process ensures the proper heat transfer that is required for optimum cooling performance. Automatic crimping machines provide the exact tank-to-header bond for a leak-free seam, batch after batch. Our cooling fan motors consist of high quality copper wire using the latest winding and balancing equipment that guarantees performance and long life.

Quality Assurance

Before the design is approved, our radiators and condensers must pass our corrosion, vibration, pressure and leak analysis. Once approved for production, each radiators is submitted to a helium leak procedure, which is one of the most sensitive and accurate ways to detect radiator leaks. The radiators are pressure-charged with helium gas, for a pre-determined amount of time. The machine uses a sniffer that can smell the smallest of amounts of gas imaginable. Should any unit fail, it will not be re-worked but scrapped. In addition to the rigorous corrosion and vibration standards that radiators and condensers are subjected to, our cooling fans must pass wind, noise and cycle trials. All of the above is required before these products can earn the Kool-Vue brand.
